Dates out by 1 day (2002)

In a new found burst of optimism, I have just used outlook to list a whole lot of tasks that I need to complete. When I use the 'Outlook Today' view, the dates for all tasks (in brackets after the task description) are shown as minus 1 compared with the dates in the 'Tasks' view. If I add a task with today's date, the date in brackets is yesterday's.

I have checked the settings to the best of my ability but can't see any obvious solution.

    Thanks

That'll teach you to have a burst of optimism, eh Joe? <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15> But seriously, this is an odd problem. Is the setting under Outlook | Tools | Options | Calendar | Time Zones the same as the setting in Start | Settings | Control Panel | Date/Time | Time Zone?

The two date/time zone settings match.

    Any other thoughts??

I just looked at mine more closely, and see that Outlook Today shows the Due Date, not the Start or Reminder Date. From Outlook Today, double click on the Date, and see if your Reminder Date is a day after (or bfore?) the Due Date.

I just enetered a new task called 'test' with a due date of 16 August. When I return to the Outlook today view the item is shown as test (15-08-03).??
