I have used the freeware (for personal use) http://HTML-Kit a few times and find it acceptable. I lost my registration for HomeSite and then the company changed owners but as I am not creating much in the way of Web pages HTML-Kit is OK. I use it mainly to modify signatures for MS Outlook messages (esp ones that need animation, etc.)
There are others but I have not tried them out.
The link is http://www.chami.com/html-kit/.
Hope this helps, Leigh
<hr>...with a graphical interface... <hr>I don't know if that means something like Dreamweaver or whatever. I personally use HotDog Pro. But you might look through this listing to see if you see anything that raises your interest. On that list is a program called NoteTab Lite which I use as a replacement for Notepad. It's <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> and has HTML capability which I've never even looked at. As an amateur in the HTML arena, I just don't know about the GUI question, if it means WYSIWYG.....
