    Cool! Check out the HTML tag at the top of the source for the pages.

    index page (normal):
    <html dir="ltr" xmlns:v="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40">

    elementary_school (on the left):
    <html dir="rtl">

    I assume this is "left to right" and "right to left" at work. Not sure how the authoring tool mixed them both in the same project. <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15>

    Re: ScrollBars (FP2000)

    Hi, Fronk ~

    There is nothing wrong with your browsers - this is a neat coding trick to get the scrollbar on the other side by placing dir=rtl in the HTML tag:<center>
    <pre><HTML dir=rtl></pre>

    </center>
    This was a neat effect I learned from one of my friends in the middle east where they read right to left rather than do the way English speaking/reading folk.

    I have used this on some pages such as this. <small>(this of course will not render in Firebird or some Moz)</small>

    The trick here in the coding is to create the entire page first, then edit in the dir=rtl or otherwise the text becomes difficult to edit and punctuation is not properly recognized in the right locations.

    Also, if interested, I have a great custom scrollbar code generator page that is easy to use.

    Hey Jeffrey,

    thanks heaps. Tested it out and sure enough it changes left or right. Cool trick! if you want that sort of thing.
    I have passed on YOUR fix to the author. Thanks for the education and to Bruce for the vivid explanation, makes sense too.

    Regards

    ScrollBars (FP2000)

    I am curious to resolve a problem which belongs to someone else. Due to no solution being found she has given up, for the time being at least.

    The problem relates to the Vertical Scrollbar. On the site it changes on some pages to the LH side not the RH (default). i was unaware that you could even change it and MS has no help on it from what I can see. To see for yourself go to : http://www.nelliemuller.com/index.htm
    Click Next, then select for example - Choosing a Topic. Wierd. I am using IE5.5 and believe this also happens in NN.

    Any assistance would be appreciated, not only to satisfy my curiosity but also I am sure to the owner of the problem.

    Regards
    DoctorF
