Comparing data in columns (2000 sr-1)

I have two columns of data with different part numbers in each column. Some are matching part numbers others are not. Is there a way to easily compare each cell against the other to find duplicate part numbers? Each column is about 200 rows deep.

Use Format|Conditional Formatting. Choose (say) B1 and set the condtion to be equal to A1 - making sure you take out the "$" sign before the "1". Then copy B1, select the entire Column B and choose Edit|Paste Special|Formats. (You may have to tinker slightly if you have Header rows.) HTH

Unkamunka's solution works OK if your data is sorted but, if it isn't, try something like:
=COUNTIF(A$1:A$200,A1)
as a straight formula in an unused column or:
=(COUNTIF(A$1:A$200,A1)>1)
with Conditional Formatting in the data column, copying as proposed by Unkamunka. The advantage of the straight formula is that it tells you exactly how many instances of each record exist.
