    Complicated IF Statement (XP)

    Hey there ...

I am working on a formula in a spreadsheet, where if the result is anything less than 0 - I would like it to say 0. The forumla as is right now is =SUM((G$6-$C8)*$E8*100)-$A$3 ... How could I fit an IF statement in here to make this happen?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Re: Complicated IF Statement (XP)

    =max(SUM((G$6-$C8)*$E8*100)-$A$3,0)
should work if you want the >0 to be the value. Does not even need an IF

or (if it HAS to be an IF, whihc is what you asked for):
    =if(SUM((G$6-$C8)*$E8*100)-$A$3<0,0,SUM((G$6-$C8)*$E8*100)-$A$3)
