    PDF in Front Page

I use Front Page 2000 to maintain the website of an organization I belong to. We have a bi-monthly newsletter. I have the newsletter in PDF format and would like to get it up on the net. Can I add a PDF file to my web and then create a hyperlink to it? I tried linking it to the file on my computer and then publishing but it did not publish the PDF file to the net. There is nothing about this is Front Page Help. I am kind of lost. Can anyone here help me?

    Re: PDF in Front Page

Should work - I've done it.
Is the pdf file within your web folder locally? - I'm not sure if this makes a difference.

Check under Reports to see if it is showing as a broken hyperlink.

I have noticed that sometimes FP loses track. If it doesn't work, try this.
Delete the link to the pdf and make sure the pdf is out of the local web folders.
    Save and publish.
Move the pdf back to the web, recreate the link and publish. The pdf should be uploaded OK.

    Re: PDF in Front Page

If the path on your local system is diferent from the path in your on-line web, then FP won't find the file. I normally put PDFs in the /images folder locally and link from the page, set up the same folder on the web server and ftp the PDF to it.
