    File Locations

In order to include Outlook files in scheduled backups, what files should I be looking for, and where are they usually located? I want to be sure that all emails, contacts, tasks, etc. are included with the backup.

We do not use Exchange. I back up the following with a batch file from my PC to a network user folder:

    *.pst [location may vary]
    *.pab [I still use one]
    c:windowsapplication datamicrosoftoutlook*.* [macros, rules, etc.]

are oyu using exchange server? if yes, then you only need to back up the outloko folders on the users drives, unless you use roaming profiles.

    Re: File Locations

Each PC holds all the data for its user (no Exchange server involved), and there are no multiple users set up on the PCs, so it should be very easy to search for these files and have them included in the backups. Thanks. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>
