    Looking for File Finder with Command Line Options?
    XP SP-1

    I have been using with success the following program FFF.exe for years starting with ms-dos through Win 95, 98, NT

    Example, if I type fff clerk.prs the program will search all drives asked and return a list of hits on the screen, which can be sorted by date, name, ext, path, etc

    You can then select the file and drop into the directory, open the file with an editor, etc.

    Have you tried Googling for something like Fast File Finder?

    I usually use DIR /S filename.ext > LIST.TXT -- but then I'm cheap-skate!!
