    Conditional Minimum (EXCEL 2000)

    I have a list of persons (not unique) who create documents each day. How can I do a conditional minimum to check what is the mininum documents each particular person created per day. For example column A is names, column B is dated, column C is number of documents the person created. Thanks !

    Does <!post=this,275752>this<!/post> help, using MIN instead of MAX, and using the date as the criteria?

    Is there a non-array solution to the problem of conditional Min or Max ? Using array formula is fine, but too slow.

    Non-Array solutions:
    Creation of a user-defined function (which also may be slow, if there are a lot of them)
    or
    using columns of intermediate results
    or
    creation of macro which "spits" out the results in one-fell swoop.
