Macros in Word (word 2000 SR-1)
Hi there, newbie here!
I was wondering if there is a way to save or copy macros created in Word 2000, All templates and documents, for importing onto another computer, also running Word 2000?
Much thanks in advance,

Re: Macros in Word (word 2000 SR-1)
Macros available in all documents are usually stored in Normal.dot, otherwise in a global template.
Start Word on the PC where the macros are now. Select Tools | Options..., and activate the File Locations tab.
Note the paths for User Templates (this contains Normal.dot) and Startup (this contains the global templates, if any). If you can't see the complete path, select it and click Edit...
Then quit Word, and locate the folders in Windows Explorer. Copy Normal.dot and - if present - global templates to floppy disk or CD, and import them on the other PC. You can either store them in the corresponding locations there, or use the Organizer (Tools | Templates and Add-ins..., Organizer...) to copy the macros.
