Linking Posts

Before SMBP suggested that I save my posts/answers offline, I didn't, and lost the post in which someone (Mark?) had given given me the "steps" to setting up a link in a post...

If I could get that again, I *promise* I'll save it this time...

See <!help=19>Help 19<!/help>. There are two basic forms to link to an url:

<!t><!/t>www.wopr.com<!t><!/t> will produce http://www.wopr.com : display text = link address.
<!t><!/t>Woody's Office Portal<!t><!/t> will result in Woody's Office Portal : display text different from URL

There are also two ways of linking to another post:

<!t>[post#=237479]<!/t> results in <post#=237479>post 237479</post#> : display text = post number.
<!t>[post=Star Post Index,237479]<!/t> results in <!post=Star Post Index,237479>Star Post Index<!/post> : display text = description
