    Invalid sign on attempts

After 5 invalid signon attempts, the laptop we have will lock out the user, and only an administrator can unlock it. Does anyone know how to increase the number of invalid attempts before a system lockout?

    Thank you

Hi Linda, If this is a domain login then the domain server administrator would have to change to policy. Otherwise I'm not sure. I'll have to dig a little.

This particular laptop is not connected to our domain server. It's only for local access.
