Filling a table with number automatically (Access 2000)

Hi, I need to fill a table with numbers from 1000 to 2500. I would like to find a way to do that without having to manually enter them all. The table is just going to have one field called ID#...this is the field that I would like to populate.
    Thanks,
    Kristen

You could write some code to do this, but the easiest way is probably to create the list of numbers in Excel.

In Excel, enter 1000 in cell A1 in a worksheet.
Type Ctrl+G and enter A1:A1501 in the Go To box, then press Enter.
Select Edit | Fill | Series..., and click OK.
Copy the range (it should still be selected) (Ctrl+C)

Switch to Access and open the table.
Select the entire (empty) record, then paste (Ctrl+V)
Confirm that you want to paste 1501 records
