    Change WinXP CPanel View? (XP)

    Hi,

Attached scrn. shot shows the CPanel traditional view & the new XP view (I found on Net).
How do I change my view to the new XP view?

    TIA,

    m.q.

I don't know how you managed to get the view on the left, but you should be able to see the button to switch to Category view by making the window larger, e.g. by maximizing it.

    Hi, M.Q. ~

To switch to the XP Visual Style (Category View), you will first need to enable the left task pane:<UL><LI>Open up 'My Documents' > 'Tools' > 'Folder Options...'<LI>'General' tab > check 'Show common tasks in folders' under 'Tasks' > 'OK'[/list]Now when you open 'Control Panel', you will have the ability to switch via the link in the upper left-hand corner of the pane.
