    Linking to worksheets (2002/SP-1)

    My question involves Excel and Word. I have a Word document that includes several links to the same Excel file. I'd like each one to link to a different worksheet in that Excel file. It seems like I should be able to do this, but I haven't figured out how. Can somebody help?

    Are these links "HyperLinks", or object links?

    Like did you have a bit of text hyperlinked to Excel, via Insert menu | Hyperlink, or CTRL+K or

    Do you have charts and tables linked to data in Excel?

    Thanks for making this clear.

    They're all hyperlinks.

    If you display field codes (Alt+F9) in Word, you can see the "code" for the hyperlinks. You should be able to change the worksheet now by Find and Replace. Then hide field codes again (Alt+F9). Does that help?

    Or do you mean that they don't link to a specific worksheet yet? In that case, show field codes as above, and insert #Sheetname!Cellref after the workbook name, for example

    { HYPERLINK "C:ExcelTest.xls#Sheet1!A1" }

    For whatever reason, putting the appropriate text within the code didn't work, but I right clicked the links, hit Edit Hyperlink, and added the tab and cell info, and everything worked just fine.

    Thanks for you help.
