    Rio Music Manager (XP Professional)

I just got a Rio mp3 music player. I installed the Rio Music Manager (RMM) and it transferred music files only once. Now it doesn't recognize any music files anywhere in my system -- even something as "obvious" as tracks on a CD in the CD drive.

I have heard rumors that there might be a conflict between XP and the RMM and the USB port.

Does anyone know anything about this? SonicBlue, maker of the Rio, has been completely useless so far.

    Thanks.

SonicBlue fell on hard times and sold off the Rio. The new support site, for what it's worth, is here:

    Thank you. I've been there.

And, from the lack of useful information and the complete lack of response from their "customer care" representatives, they deserved to fall on hard times.

Without the Lounge, I'd be completely on my own.
