    clipboard toolbar (2000)

    Is there a way to disable the clipboard toolbar from appearing automatically? (after two copies()

    hi David,

    commandbars("clipboard").enabled=false

    you could put this in an autoexec of an addin of normal.dot to disable it automatically each time word is opened.

    If you run Pieter's code one time in the Immediate window of the VBE, and save Normal.dot, that usually will take care of it more or less permanently. But if other templates were saved with the toolbar open, they might override the setting saved in Normal.dot (the way Word resolves CommandBar conflicts among templates is not to be understood fully in this life).
