Users Told when another user logs into their mailb (2000)

Currently we use Exchange 5.5, with my department logging into other users mail boxes to carry out maintenance. It can be a nuisance having to defer maintenance because the user is out and about in the factory, as we advise users prior to logging in.
Is there a function that pops up a "message" to the user that says "user xxx is now logged into your mailbox"?

Not in Outlook or Exchange, that I know of. Maybe you could use net send and windows scripting to do this.
