Saving a record in a form (Access XP)

I have a continuous form in which I enter details of a record. Sometimes I want to press a command button to do a calc based upon the table bound to the form. What I need to do is to save the forms current record if it's dirty. I would just use the search function if it was available.
What is the command to save the form's dirty record?

    Hi Pat,

You can use code like this:

    If Me.Dirty Then
    RunCommand acCmdSaveRecord
    End If
