    PHDisk

I'm trying to help a friend out with his (old) Twinhead laptop.
The LT won't boot because the "Save To Disk" file cannot be found.
I get a red box advising me to run PHDisk, create a new file and partition.

I've downloaded the utility for the Pheonix Bios but can't get it to work.

The utility is on a floppy, I type:
PHDisk at which I am prompted to 1:Create Partition, 2:Create File, 3:Reboot, 4:Exit.
    Selecting 1,:- Please input size(Minimal: 68096 )KB:

From here I get : Error: Not Enough Free Disk Space Exists To Create The Suspend To Disk Partition, Refer To .................................

My guess is the disk maybe full.
I've tried deleting some items through DOS commands but it won't let me do so.

    Can anyone help here ?

If possible, step by step would be appreciated

Unless you're lucky enough that a Lounger with specific experience on THAT laptop comes along, you may be hard pressed for answers. I don't know if anything on this page will help or not, but have you tried any support organizations? When we're talking about possible disaster from monkeying with a BIOS flash, I wouldn't dare suggest something on a machine I have no experience with.

    Thankyou Al
At least I have a starting point.

I had Googled on this but that came up negative anyway.
    All the best

Sarge it looks like you sent him to the right page from what I read. Good job.
