Re: Foxpro to Access (Access 2002)

You can import or link FoxPro tables. Select File | Get External Data | Import or Link Tables, according to your preference.
In the Files of Type dropdown list, scroll all the way down and select ODBC databases.
The Select Data Source dialog has two tabs - File data source and Computer data source. See if you can find the data source you created. If not, click New... and create a new one.
    The rest should be obvious, I hope (I don't have any FoxPro files to test <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>)

    Foxpro to Access (Access 2002)

    A simple one I hope <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

I'm an absolute newbie at Access and want to access an old Foxpro 5.2 database from Access 2002 on Windows 98.

As I understand the documentation I have to set up a 'Data source' using ODBC.
However, I'm stumped. I think I've set up the Data Source properly from Control Panel > ODBC Data Sources - I can see the data from Excel.
However, I still do not know how to make Access see it.

    Any help much appreciated.
