Check very carefully that the .csv file is valid - not only the path, but the contents too. I downloaded Helen Feddema's Accarch92.zip, Mail Merge 2000.mdb works without problems.

    Hi Hans

    I reinstalled into F:AppsAccess2kMailMrg

The Contacts.csv file gets created OK, this is what it looks like:

    LIST 1 4 08/22/:3 10:11 ♦ CONTACTS.CSV
    "Name","JobTitle","CompanyName","Address","Salutat ion"
    "Nancy Davolio","Sales Representative","Cascade Coffee Roasters","507 - 20th Ave
    Apt. 2A
    Seattle, WA 98122-1829","Nancy"

    F:AppsAccess2kMailMrg

    Immediate Window looks like this:

    Opening recordset based on tblMergeList
    Word doc: F:AppsAccess2kMailMrgContact List.doc
    Text file: F:AppsAccess2kMailMrgContacts.csv

    My References are:

    Microsoft DAO 3.6 Objecj Library
    Microsoft Word 9.0 Objecj Library

    John,

I downloaded your zip file, and unzipped the database.
I replaced the path "F:AppsAccess2kMailMrg" with the path of a folder on my PC, both in tblInfo (in the TextFile field) and in tblMergeDocs (in the FileName field in all records; since the DatabaseName field is not used here, it wasn't necessary to modify it.)
I create a dummy document "Contact List.doc" in this folder.
After this, the merge ran without problems.
So I have no idea why it doesn't work for you. Sorry.
