    Fill Out PDF Form

Is it possible to fill out a standard pdf form from Acrobat Reader? I have done a search on google for instructions which told me to use the "Hand" tool which should turn into a "I-beam" but I don't seem to be able to do this on this form (attached).
Any help would be very appreciated.
    Thanks

The pdf document that you have attached is not a pdf form, it contains no form fields. It's just a document that has been printed to pdf. The only thing you can do with it in Acrobat Reader is print it (and then fill it in on paper).

    Re: Fill Out PDF Form

If the form was prepared by the author to do this, the answer is YES.

Also, note that if done with fonts that you do not have it will also not work. I have seen many prepared on a MAC using the MAC fonts that do not appear on any PC's, and the forms do not work.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

    Re: Fill Out PDF Form

    Hi,

To add up to Hans' and Dave's comments, you can FILL forms having Acrobat Reader. But to CREATE a form, you must have Acrobat (full version) installed. Just in case you happened to think you needed the full ver. to fill in the form.

Thanks to all for your replies, obviously PDF forms are able to be filled out but PDF docs aren't. Better pick up a pen and start writing.
