No Contacts in Outlook XP (1.0)

    Hi Everyone
I installed Office 2002 on an XP PC - but Outlook did not take Contacts as the default Address Book. I then imported the PST file to Contacts folder (when I open Contacts they are all there) but when I create a new message, Outlook does not look into Contacts. I tried to set manually but it is blank and will not let me add contacts from the Tools - Address Book option. Does that mean I need to reinstall Office?

From memory - I'm writing from an O2K machine - right-click on the Contacts folder, choose properties and tick the check-box for Show this as an Outlook Address Book.

Correct - it is in the Outlook Address Book tab of the Properties window for the Contacts folder.
