Am I missing something here? Is his utility any different from
    COPY C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32TaskMgr.exe C:EmergencyUtilsTaskMgr1.exe

    And so on?

Is this something intrinsic or native as they say to Windows, and can all 3 utilities be found?

    Re: xp_emegencyutil.exe from Doug Knox

    For Windows XP:
    TaskMgr.exe and Regedit.exe are in C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32
    MSConfig.exe is, bizarrely, in C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32DLLCACHE

Not beyond the wit of wo/man to do copies under different names, IMHO!

Thanks for the files. I had searched for msconfig once to make a shortcut to see if I could and it took a while.

But my word "wo/man" has its equivalent in "s/he" -- i.e. neither is gender specific!

    And equally insulting to both? <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>

But, if we're to believe Genderless Pronoun Problem Solved, then the issue will soon be redundant.
