    Suppress .show (VBA, Excel 2000)

    Hi,

    Would anyone know if there's a clever way to handle/suppress a "form".show method ?

I'm trying to interface with a collegues code and do not want to change it. But in his code there's an initialize event and subsequently a .show.
But if the .show brings up the form my code will be halted, which is what I want to avoid as I'm trying to do a full automatic update.

Any suggestions on how I can work around the . show.... (I have full acces to his code and can see everything needed)

Any ideas are welcome - thanks.

PS: Wish there were a knob on the TV to turn up the intelligence. There's a knob called "brightness," but that doesn't work

I think you'll either have to use a modified copy of your colleagues code, or ask him/her to build in an extra argument of type Boolean that specifies whether to show the form or not.
