    Cell Formatting (97:SR2)

I have a spreadsheet that contains various cells that require manual entry. These cells are unprotected and formatted to Number>Accounting, decimal places =0. If one were to enter +12000/100 the result would be 120 but formatting would change to Number>Fraction, up to two digits.

How do I keep the formatting from changing without using code?

    Thanks,
    John

+12000/100 is a Lotus 123 type formula. What happens if you enter =12000/100 ?

    Hans,

    Unbelievable, =12000/100 works.

    Thanks,
    John
