Unfortunately, that's correct. See <!post=Temporary suspension of Search facility,250092>Temporary suspension of Search facility<!/post>.

Accept/Decline of Meetings not showing up (OutlookXP on WinXP, Exchange 5.

(Edited by ofrashai on 28-Aug-03 07:15. )
I have solved the problem I sent yesterday. It seems the user had a rule sending all his accept/decline forms to the deleted items. What I don't understand is why the accept/decline wasn't registering in the tracking. I have tested this behavior and this is true on other computers as well. Does it make sense that we cannot track unless we are willing to be bombarded with unnecessary mail in our inbox? Is there a way around it? Thanks

On one station in our office the user sends out meeting requests but does not get the accept/decline - neither as messages in his inbox or listed in the tracking tab (and we have tested and checked: people receive the requests and do reply properly). The inbox less of a problem, the tracking however is an immense problem. Other users with same configuration do not have this problem. I have searched the tools/options and couldn't find anything (which of course doesn't mean that it's not there). Help will be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Ofra

PS I hope this question was not asked in the past. The search option on the menu bar seems to be lost...

You can use the auto-accept auto-process features ( Tools | Options | Email Options | Tracking button ), but that's about it. If users can live with having meetings accepted for them, this will reduce the "clutter." If they can't, then they need the meeting requests.

Isn't this a case of a user not getting responese to his/her Sent meeting Requests. If so, the Tracking Option "Delete blank voting and meeting responses after processing" handles things with minimal clutter.
