I need to take the contents of a PDF file and include it an a new letter created by Print Shop. I am having difficulty importing the PDF file format into Print Shop (I dont't believe it can be done). Normally I would scan the PDF document and include the scanned file generated. I do not have access to a scanner at this time.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed?

I assume you have Acrobat Reader. If you open the PDF file, you can create a screenshot (Alt+PrintScreen), paste it into your favorite graphics editor, then select and copy the part you need. If you are mainly concerned with the text in the PDF document, you can use the Text Select tool to select and copy text (unless the PDF document has been protected.) Finally paste into your newsletter.

Hi Hans,

If you want a graphic from an unprotected PDF, use Acrobat's graphic select tool instead of Alt+PrintScreen - you'll probably get a much higher resolution image that way, and without the extraneous border fluff.

You're right -- as long as the document is not protected. Else he'll have to go the (good?) old PrintScreen way.
And, regarding the text select tool, sometimes one just cannot select text: for example, when the PDF document was created importing an image, but there are other ways too. If this is the case (or as Hans said, if the document is protected), PrintScreen is the only way out.
