    Combo Box Selection (Access XP)

I have created 2 combo boxs to select data, however I wonder if anyone can tell me how I can base the 2nd combo box selection on the first combo box.

The first combo box is where you select a 'class' of an item e.g. ICT, Office Furniture, Vehicle etc
The 2nd combo box is the sub class e.g. PC, Laptop, Car

What I would like is to only show the relevant selections e.g. for ICT show PC, Laptop and not show the car.

I'm sure there must be a way of doing but am not sure how, please can someone help cos It's now beginning to annoy me.

    Many thanks.

MSKB article How to Synchronize Two Combo Boxes on a Form gives clear instructions how to do this.

    Hi 3Cats,

If you like, you can download working examples of a slightly different method:
ACC2000: Microsoft Access 2000 Sample Forms Database Available in Download Center - look for "How to Synchronize Two Combo Boxes on a Form" in the "Form Controls" category.
Microsoft Access 2000: Building Applications with Forms and Reports - look for "Limit the contents of one list based on the value selected in another' in the "Work with combo boxes, ..." category.

If you'd rather get specific help, please explain what you don't understand or where it fails.
