    Check for new mail frequency (Outlook XP)

    I have just upgrade to Outlook XP and cannot find the setting for how often Outlook checks for new mail.

    Select Tools | Options...
    Activate the E-mail Settings tab.
    Click Send/Receive...

    I do not have an E-mail Setting tab. Only Mail Setup and Mail Format tabs. There is an E-mail Options button, but it is not there.

    I'm sorry, I have a foreign-language version of Office. I meant the Mail Setup tab. Also see <!mskb=287677>Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 287677<!/mskb>.

    Outlook 2002 uses Send/Receive settings. See tools, send/receive, define...
