    Missing Address Book (Outlook XP)

I upgraded to Outlook XP and copied my old Outlook 2000 .pst file and replaced the one that was created when Outlook 2000 was installed. Now I can not find my address book that was associated with that old pst file. How can I recover or recreate my address book for Outlook 2000?

Do you have a .PAB (Personal Address Book) file from Outlook 2000?

Re: Missing Address Book (Outlook XP)

I ran a search and did not find a pab file. When I click on the To in a new message window I get a message, "The contacts folder associated with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or deleted... For information on how to remove this folder from the Outlook Address Book, see Outlook Help." I can get a Select Name window, there are no names either from Contacts or Contacts Address Book.

right click on the contacts folder and choose properties. Add add a check to enable it as an address book.
