Places Bar (Win XP / Office 2000)

Forgive me if this has been covered before...

I found a MSKB on customizing the Places Bar for Office XP Applications. But does anyone know if the Places Bar for Office2000 can be customized / altered / hacked / modified, etc. I'm okay with registry changes if that's the solution.

Currently, when I run Excel2000 - click Save As... - I have five pre-set icons in the far left pane of the dialogue: History, My Documents, Desktop, Favorites and My Network Places. I can think of several better choices!

Thanks so much. I need to get better at searching through the KB. Took me just ten minutes to get the PlacesBar just the way I like it.
