    Don't want exchange (2002)

Apparently when it was first set up Outlook 2002 was set for the exchange setting rather than for a single home user. Therefore it has never worked. so rather than do anything they have used Outlook Express.

How do I undo it. Whenever it starts it asks for server settings, none exist so it closes. I have tried to delete Outlook.exe hoping to re-install it with new settings...Unsuccessfully.

How do I back out of the exchange version and set it back for a home user?

    Thanks in advance,

    Gaddy

Right click the Outlook icon on the desktop and select Properties from the pop-up menu, or if that is not available, select Start | Control Panel, switch to Classic View and open the Mail control panel.

Click E-mail Accounts..., then select Add a new e-mail account and click Next. Select the type of account you want (POP3, IMAP, ...) and follow the subsequent steps.

After that, you can delete the existing Exchange account.

I used this solution and forgot to come back and let you know it worked,
Sorry for the delay but my gratitude is still there.
