Loads of Explorer windows opening (Explorer 5)

Hi,

Somebody has download or visited a site that is causing my pc to constantly open web site selling stuff. If I power my pc up and leave it for 15 minutes I end up with 30 or more explorer pages up.

I am running windows 98 with Explorer 5, I have Nortons 2003 security file wall and virus checker, I have cleared out all the cookies, I cannot see what is running to cause all these explorer windows to open.

Does anybody know how I can stop this.

Download, install and run Ad-Aware from LavaSoft and Spybot Search & Destroy from Patrick Kolla. they will tell you what spyware is causing this, and will help you getting rid of it.

That should do it but there are at least a couple other apps to run once a week--Spyware S&D and Adaware 6.0 See Below:

Download/Run Ad Aware 6.0 and Spybot. Always check both for the latest updates--on Adaware you have to click the globe at the top for the latest reference data base.
