Loss of Network Connection (XP Pro)

    Hi there,

Im having a problem with a user at my site that keeps losing there network connection, ie there access to network printers and the file server. They are one of only 2 other users at the site that has xp, the others do not experience the same problem. The setup for all the machines is the same, and all patches have been applied.
    Any ideas? im all out.....

    Regards

When you say loosing the connection, do you mean it starts to work and then won't finish? Can they find the printer? Are they able to stay on the Internet?

The user has no problem with access to the internet, email. Once the user logs on (starts up there pc) to the network they have access to the file server and printers, however after a short time they lose all access to network printers and an the file server.
I can ping both the file server from the XP machine and ping to the XP machine. Even when connection is lost to the file server and printers.
