    Crosstab Report (Access XP)

Hans or anyone else for that matter.

I wouldn't bother you for this one, but seeing the Search facility is still not available I cannot go find it myself.
I noticed in a response of yours to a lounger re a crosstab report with variable headings that you in fact had simplified the coding required compared to the one in the Sample database.

I wonder if you can source that response.

What I have is a report where I want to show a Race (horse race) on each page, I want to show the 7 horses I have chosen for the race as the column headings and a question response as rows on the page. The headings per page will differ because there is a different per page.

Have I made that clear enough, I do have trouble sometimes in expressing myself clearly.

    Pat,

Sorry for the long delay. You asked this question on the day I left for a long vacation/holiday. Since I can't search either, I have attached the modified example from the Solutions database (in Access 97 format, zipped.) You should be able to modify it to your needs if you still need it after all this time.

    Hi Hans
Welcome back to the land of the needy (or is that nerdy <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>?).
Hope you enjoyed your vacation, what a silly statement.
I have solved that problem, but for the life of me, I cannot remember the problem or how I solved it, must be dementia kicking.

Thanks for your solution, it is something I will use in the future.

    Good to have you back.
