    Drop Down Boxes on Cell (Excel 2000)

    Is there a way to out a dropdown box in excel to help force the user to select one of those options? Basically, this dropdown would contain all the provinces two letter codes

    You can use data validation. Go to Data/Validation and on the settings tab change the criteria to list. (You will need to have listed the codes somewhere else first) and then insert the source references. You can customise your own error messages.
