    Windows 2000 wierdness

Hi - I made the mistake of downloading one of the many security patchs suggested by Microsoft. After installing and going through the proverbial rebooting process, I get the following message:
    SystemRootSystem32DrivewrsTSISTRM.SYS missing Error status 0xc0000034

Can anyone suggest what this means? and how to get rid of it. If I click "OK", the system boots up as if nothing is wrong.

    Thanks

    David

My guess is you have LapLink installed. The error is the result of a conflict between Windows video drivers and the remote control features in LapLink
I believe this will help you with your problem How to Disable Error Message: Unable to Load Device Driver: SystemRootSystem32DriversTSISTRM.SYS

If no help above here is somthing else I found at the bottom of Vaio Village Webb Site

the file "tsistrm.sys" is from the " Lap Link Corporation"
if you have "laplink 2000" on your system you must reinstall it.
