    Compile Error: Named Argument Not Found

    I've had the following macro to insert a date for some time. I've just brought my templates from Word 2000 to work, where I have Word 97.

    When I try to run the following macro after loading my global template, I get the error listed in the subject matter.

    This is the macro:
    Sub InsertDate()
    '
    ' InsertDate Macro
    ' Inserts Current Date in short form.
    '
    Selection.InsertDateTime DateTimeFormat:="M/d/yy", InsertAsField:=False, _
    DateLanguage:=wdEnglishUS, CalendarType:=wdCalendarWestern, _
    InsertAsFullWidth:=False
    End Sub

    What can I do to change this?

    Thanks in advance.

    These two parameters are not supported in Word 97:

    DateLanguage:=wdEnglishUS, CalendarType:=wdCalendarWestern,

    Now you gotta write version test code like the rest of us. <img src=/S/joy.gif border=0 alt=joy width=23 height=23>
