Outlook 2000 - Sent Messages Disappear

I have Outlook 2000 running on Windows 98 in an Exchange 5.5 environment. When I send a message -- it does not show up in sent messages. Any ideas as to where it might be going? Thanks!

did you check the settings in Tools, Options, Email Options button for saving copies of messages in your Sent Items folders? It's usually a default setting.

That option is selected. They just aren't going to sent messages! One "small" detail that I may have neglected to mention -- this person had the normal "Outlook Today - [Mailbox - Bob User]" AND had a personal "Mailbox - Bob User" on his workstation. We eliminated the personal mailbox and now it seems that the sent messages has disappeared.

Check where mail is being delivered.
With Outlook running, go Tools | Services and then click on the Delivery tab.
What's in the Deliver new mail to the following location field?
Does this match the mailbox from which the mail is being sent?
