    Global IsNull function (Access 2000)

Can i simplify my function based on IsNull command, given that i have one and the same form everywhere, that is F1, and apply it for
different controls on this form.I want to call my function Blank and put in the brackets the name of the control, for example
    Call Blank(control1)
    or Blank(control2)

    Dim frm As frm
    Set Frm = Forms![F1]
    If IsNull(frm![list]) Then
    DoCmd.Beep
    MsgBox " Please select Document ! "
    Exit Sub
    End If

I'm not sure where you are going with this or how/when it will be used, but you could use this function:

    Public Function CheckForNull(ctl as control)
    If IsNull(ctl) then
    DoCmd.Beep
    MsgBox " Please select Document ! "
    End If
    End Function
