    E-mail "subject" field.

Because of my host's e-mail handling system anything addressed to a "mailing list" address from the web site that does not have a subject is returned to the sender. Is there any way I can "force" something in the users subject line? I'm using FP2k.
Appreciate any thoughts on this one.

    Re: E-mail

    Is this a mailto link?

    mailto:list@mydomain.com?cc=copy@mydomain.com&Subj ect=Feedback

If it's the webbot, you can hardcode a subject:

    Re: E-mail

What I have is a plain jane hyperlink to the e-mail icon, which gives me a place to put the address: sales@mycompany.com and nothing else. It shows on the page as e-mail (underlined). This link is not in a form.
In the mail admin area for the host. I have pop accounts. joe, bill, etc etc. Then I have a mailing list called sales. e-mail addressed to sales@etc goes to all the pop accounts in the mailing list. Set it that way so two locations can see the incoming mails and act appropriately.
Does this clarify? Appreciate you taking the time.

    Re: E-mail

I guess I'd need to see the HTML behind the link. Assuming it looks like

    e-mail

then I would add the other stuff on the HTML view

    e-mail

and see if that works the way you like (put in % 20 - without the space - instead of spaces). Probably it will then show up in the Hyperlink properties.
