    Disappearing Objects (Access 2002)

The list (directory) of objects - say of tables or queries - clears out when I return to it after working on an object. This happens with tables and queries, not every time but often enough. If I am working on Tables, for example, and the list disappears, I can jump over to Queries, then come back to Tables and the list is there again. This doesn't make for a huge problem but is annoying and I haven't seen anything on it. I have the latest patches, etc..
    Thanks for any ideas...

I can't help you with the problem, but thought you at least deserved some comfort in your misery. <img src=/S/hairout.gif border=0 alt=hairout width=31 height=23> I have also noticed this on an Access 2002 database that I maintain. It seems to be a minor bug, but I agree it is annoying. I have not found a solution except to go to another object (e.g. Forms) and then back to where I want to be and it reappears. I wonder if this is actually a Windows XP problem where the screen isn't being redrawn?

I have seen this on Windows XP and found a solution, but I don't recall what it was. I'll check my work machine tomorrow and see if I stashed some notes away on it.
