    Synchronizing Pivot Table Page Fields (Excel 2000)

    I'm trying to synchronize two pivot table fields in the page area. (Like synchronizing combo boxes in Access) I want to choose a value and one page field and then see only associated values in the next field, NOT ALL VALUES. Any clues? Don't mind VBA.

    I think you would have to put COMBOBOXES to "hide/cover" the pivot page fields. Then when the comboboxes are selected you would determine from the dataset (and any other associated selections in comboboxes) the items to fill the combo. Then once the selection is made, the code would add the chosen value into the proper pivot table location.

    So instead of using excel pivot pulldowns in the page area, you create your own that limit the selections and populate the pivot from them.
