    Re: Choosing from Form

Humm, when editing the above post it looks fine, after posting it loses all the spaces. What's the trick to get things to look right? Also, it's in Excel 2000 I'm working.

    Choosing from Form

Below is an example of what I'm trying to do. The person puts a quantity in only one of the cells in range PROC_QTY(B2:B6,D210,F2:F5,H2:H4), and the type and speed of the chosen item appears in cell C16.

So far I've figured out (With the help of others on this forum) how to do this for a single
columm such as the range AMD_T_BIRD(d2:d10) using:

    =OFFSET(INDIRECT(CELL("address",AMD_T_Bird)),-1,2) & " " & OFFSET(INDIRECT(CELL ("address",AMD_T_Bird)),MATCH(1,AMD_T_Bird,-1)-1,1)

How could I do this for this multiple column range where only one box is going to be selected? I'm probably going to rewrite the entire thing using Comboboxes and VBA eventually, but now I'm curious if it can be done the way I'm asking.

    Steven,

    I've done that for you.

If you enclose text with "pre" tags, it will preserve the formatting:
    [ pre]
    Text
    [ /pre]

-But remove the spaces after the opening square brackets.
