    outlook xp -slooooow (xp)

I just got windows xp with the latest Office, including Outlook of course. I noticed that it takes forever to refresh the window from one message to another. It's not a memory issue - I've got over a gig. Is that the way it is for everyone?

    Any advice is welcome,
    RR

Let me assume you refer to opening a message and then using the Previous and Next arrows. Mine seems fine.

Are you running any add-ins that could be examining the mail on the fly? Viewing HTML as plain text? Viewing HTML messages over a slow connection that would make the graphics take forever to load?

Yes, you're correct in your assumption that I'm looking at a message and then using the previous and next commands. I'm on a network connection at a university, so your suspicion that there's something filtering each message could be correct. I'll look into it.

    Thanks!
