The Windows is too small (WordXP)

My macro types some text using the selection object into the header of a document. However, if Word is minimised (not full screen) I get the error message:

Error 5234 The window is too small.

I was thinking of coding the application to zoom the contents of the window to a smaller size. Is that the best way to do it?

Marie-Therese, not sure if I understand your issue correctly, but the minimum window height in Word is 0.1 inch (2.54 mm)

Odd. What line of code is highlighted if you Debug at that point? I can't imagine that TypeText really cares about the window size. (Maybe it's a failure of imagination on my part.)

You might try to use a range instead of a selection. Ranges often behave differently.
