This is $70 as advertised on their website. Is this the best -- read cost effective -- partition program? My 4GB C drive is 90% full. I should have partitioned it for 6GB when I set the thing up.

Bruce,

You can get Ver 7.0 from AMAZON

for $31.00 (US)$.

V7 has been around long enough to show it's worth.

Long ago, there was a time when men cursed and beat on the ground with sticks. It was called witchcraft.
Today it is called golf!

Hi - Partitionmagic is the best as far as I am concerned. Been using it since the first version - partitioned dozens of times on various PCs. Never had the slightest problem. As other posts suggest - no need to buy the latest version unless you weant to do fancy things like easily partition for Linux and Windows on the same machine. Regards - Richard

Thanks guys. I order V7 from Amazon. I'd rather that than V8.

Uncle!

I violated my religion and purchased Partition Magic today.
I feel so ashamed!

WOW Howard, next thing you know, you'll be making a partition available for an installation of a Linux Distribution.

Linux would be permitted by my religion IF AND ONLY IF:

- MSFT were foolish enough to make MSFT Office available in Linux in a non-crippled manner, or;
- I was being paid to do something with Linux.
