    Other users folders (Outlook 2000)

When you opening another user's folder, it adds that folder to a drop down list. This is great if you access that folder all the time, but I have some that show up that I only needed to access once and don't want to see anymore. How can I make them go away?

    Where is this list??

Many MRU (most recently used) lists are in the registry and hard to find and messy to remove. Hopefully someone has experience with this one and can lead the way.

    (I've been experimenting with signatures and now I have a MRU full of deleted files. <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15> )

To delete the Open Other Users Folders MRU list:
Find the Windows Messaging Subsystem key, found here in Windows 2000/XP:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWIndowsNTCurrent Version
    Windows Messaging SubsystemProfilesusername 0a0d020000000000c000000000000046

Select and delete the 101e0384 key in the right pane of Registry Editor.

Re: Other users folders (Outlook 2000)

    Mary,
Went and did a search on my 2000 PC, connected to Exchange 5.5, but that key 101e0384 was not there. Any other ideas as to alternatives where the MRU of users is stored?
